Your love story is unique...

and should be told in a way that is completely and authentically you. Whether you're planning a large wedding surrounded by all your friends and family, a backyard micro wedding, an intimate elopement in the mountains, or a sunset engagement, I'm here to help you document your one-of-a-kind love.

My style is modern, but timeless with elegant, natural, authentic images that tell your story and allow you to re-live your most meaningful memories over and over again.

All love is welcome and celebrated.

Inspired by the Pacific Northwest

The rugged snowcapped mountains of the Cascades, the gentle wind sweeping through the ponderosa pines in high desert, the waves from the mighty Pacific ocean crashing on sandy cliffs at the coast, the golden sunsets over grassy fields in the Willamette valley, the stars twinkling in the dark skies over the numerous mountain lakes... There's something utterly magical about the Pacific Northwest. The wild beauty and vivid colors of the region have inspired the works of artists for millennia.

Let's let the Pacific Northwest inspire us to create something wonderful together.

Meet the human behind the lens

Hi, I'm Lucy

I'm an Oregon local who lives in Portland with my husband, dog, and jungle of houseplants. I have been a professional photographer since 2011 and a wedding photographer since 2017. When I'm not helping you plan your dream wedding, elopement, or engagement, you can find me hiking in the mountains or curled up with a good book.

Your story, your way.

Have something special in mind or want to plan something outside of the traditional? I'm in! I'll always work alongside you to make sure your day is exactly how you envision it.

The Experience

1.

Think we may be a good fit for each other? Send me a message and let's chat! We can discuss your vision for your dream wedding, elopement, or engagement over email, video chat, or we can meet up in person for a beer, coffee, tea, smoothie, or whatever your jam is. Feel free to ask any questions about the process and let's get to know each other!

The next step is to take care of some paperwork and send in a 25% retainer to officially reserve your date.

I have an open door policy for communication, and you'll have full access to me via email or text for planning and questions from the time you book until you receive your final images.

2.

My goal is to keep your experience as stress-free as possible. I always use dual memory cards and bring backup equipment so that I won't miss a single moment.

During our time together, we'll have a blast! It's common for couples to be worried that they won't know how to pose or that they'll look or feel awkward. Don't worry - I'll guide you through fun (and frequently silly) prompts that will help you move naturally and feel good about yourself. Whether you're planning a traditional wedding or you're making your own traditions, you can relax and know that your memories and special moments will be captured in a way that's authentically and naturally you.

3.

As soon as your wedding or session is over, your images are backed up to at least two places to ensure they stay safe until they're delivered to you. Your images will be edited in a way that is vibrant, elegant, and inspired by the Pacific Northwest. I send sneak-peek photos in the days following your wedding for you to share while you wait for the rest of your images.

You can expect a beautiful digital gallery of your edited images within 8 weeks of your wedding or 4 weeks from your engagement. From here you can view, download, and share with friends and family. The image files will be full-sized, which makes printing in all sizes easy and worry-free.
